Google Chrome Extension

Overview

The PathFactory Chrome Extension lets PathFactory users share their content tracks and Explore pages via email. This functionality lets you embed content thumbnails and titles when sending emails using Gmail. Whether it’s inbound, outbound, or account-based sales, sales teams and organizations can accelerate the path to purchase.

The PathFactory Chrome Extension can be downloaded through the * Chrome Extension app store. Once you download the app, the PathFactory logo will appear in the top right corner of your Chrome address bar.

How you can include content in your emails:

  • Hyperlink to either a Content Track or to a specific content asset within a track.

Tracking

Similar to tracking limitations in most MAPs, the PathFactory Google Chrome Extension will only de-anonymize users who view content sent in emails if the following is true:

  • The email is only sent to 1 recipient
    • This means only 1 recipient in total, if using To, CC, or BCC
  • You use the Embed content thumbnail option (not the copy link option)
